But how does paleo work, exactly?

Paleo works because it emphasizes mostly whole food sources of lean protein, organic fruits and vegetables, fruits, low-glycemic carbs, and healthy fats, and it eliminates the most common causes of inflammation, like sugar, grains, and dairy.
